Myanmar

Day 1

Mandalay Arrival – Sagaing – Amarapura

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. Leave Mandalay for Sagaing, where we will visit Budda Cave, Uminthonze Pagoda and Sunooponnyashin Pagoda on top of Sagaing Hill. Continue our tour to Amarapura to explore Mahagandaryone Monastery and Ubein Wooden Bridge.

Day 2

Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay Hill

Explore the Pahtodawgyi Pagoda, Mingun Bell, Mandalay Palace, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Shwenandaw Monastery, then conclude the tour by visiting Mandalay Hill to watch the Burmese sunset and the panoramic view of the city.

Day 3

Mandalay – Bagan – Sightseeing

After the flight to Bagan, spend a full day to discover Bagan’s most outstanding pagodas including Shwezigone Pagoda, Ananda and Sulamani Temples. Enjoy an exotic horse cart ride to one of the biggest temples in Bagan - Nan Paya Pagoda and the second highest pagoda of Bagan – Shwe Sandaw Pagoda, which is the ideal place to observe the paranomic view of sunset.

Day 4

Bagan – Mt Popa

Take a drive to Mount Popa and enjoy the magnificent view of mountainous landscapes on top of this famous volcano. Take a boat ride along the Ayeyarwaddy River to discover the local life. Special dinner and puppet show at a choiced restaurant awaiting, before returning to Bagan.

Day 5

Bagan – Heho – Inle Lake

Take a flight to Heho and then transfer to Inle Lake – the heart of Shan State and a major tourist attraction of Myanmar. Enjoy the boat trip to Phaungdawoo Pagoda and Ngaphechaung Monastery which is also known as “Monastery of Jumping Cats”. Travel to Nampan village to discover local weaving and cigar-making factories.

Day 6

Inle Lake – Indein

Explore the unique floating markets called the “Five Days Market” organized in different locations where you can enjoy shopping and experience local culture. Enjoy a boat ride to the temple of Indein, located on the hill overlooking the lake.

Day 7

Inle Lake – Yangon – City Tour

Leave Inle Lake for Heho to fly back to Yangon where you will spend a full day exploring Yangon and its highlights including famous Sule Pagoda, Chaukhtayi Pagoda and Kandawgyi Lake. Afternoon, discover Shwedagon Pagoda, the most sacred Buddhist pagoda for the Burmese. Evening, farewell dinner at Karaweik Palace with the fantastic view of the Royal Lake and Shwedagon Tower, following by a beautiful cultural show.

Day 8

Yangon Departure

Enjoy some free time in Yangon until being transferred to the airport for your flight home.
